For small to medium sized travel businesses, Equinus has launched System Selection, a fixed price service to help find and implement the most suitable system.

System Selection comprises up to four Stages and you can choose one or more, whichever suits.
The first Stage is a FREE pre-meeting where we visit you to discuss your requirements. The purpose of the meeting is to:
- Understand your business
- Get to know your products
- Discuss your business ambitions and current plans
- Understand your business processes and technology
If you decide to proceed with System Selection, you can choose one or more of the following Stages:
Stage 1 - Request for Information
We will draft a Request for Information (RFI) for you to approve and then send it to prospective suppliers. The Stage will:
- Describe your business
- List the required system functionality
- Ask specific questions about the supplier and its products
- Use a structured methodology that has been tried and tested with over 50 travel customers
- Collate and score the supplier responses
- Produce a comparative cost schedule
Stage 2 - Supplier Presentations
In this Stage we will help you choose a short list of suppliers and organise formal presentations:
- Help choose the short list
- Prepare business scenarios for the supplier to cover in the presentation
- Organise the presentations
- Support you during the presentations
- Help you choose the preferred supplier(s)
Stage 3 - Negotiation and Contract
This is an invaluable Stage where we help you get the best deal and contract terms.
- Agree the negotiation strategy
- Obtain detailed quotations
- Target areas for price improvement
- Agree price and deliverables
- Review and agree contract terms
- Review and agree the Service Level Contract (SLA)
Stage 4 - Implementation
If you need resource or extra support we can help you through the implementation stage:
- Agree an implementation plan
- Organise training
- Data loading
- Specify any enhancements
- Acceptance testing
- Sign off for Go Live
- Go Live support
- Post Implementation Review
The first three Stages are offered at a fixed price with a reduced daily rate for Implementation.
